Amok Paste
Ingredients of the Amok paste: lemongrass, kaffir leaves, turmeric, fingerroot, garlic, red onion, dried chili, palm sugar, fish sauce, chili oil, sunflower oil
How to cook Fish Amok
Ingredients:
- Amok paste 1 pack 80g
- Coconut paste 150ml
- Water or Soup 50ml
- Fish 300g
- Mushroom 100g
- 2 Egg yolks
- Onion 100g
- Some noni leaves
How to cook:
1. Boil the fish (only the meat) 50% to deodorize and make the fish meat hardens
2. Heat the pot, then add a little bit of oil and add in the amok paste, then add half of the coconut paste, onion, and mushroom; mix well.
3. Put in the fish meat, add fish sauce, sugar then some water or soup and the other half of the coconut paste that's left. Lastly, add the noni leaves and the egg yolks. Taste it for the last time, then it's done.
